International News: Trump and Putin are going to meet. The date has not been confirmed yet, but it is believed that this mega-meeting can happen next week. Putin's agreeing to meet amidst Trump's ultimatum was a topic of discussion. Now the information that is coming out is that Putin did not agree to meet just like that. Trump has made many such promises, which are beneficial for Russia. These are likely to be approved in the talks. All is not well between Trump and Putin regarding Ukraine. Recently, Trump had given a 50-day ultimatum to Putin, which was later reduced to 10 days. This time limit has expired.

Meanwhile, Trump sent his special envoy Witkoff to Putin and made such promises to Putin, which are considered to be beneficial for Russia. Actually, Trump is also not happy with Putin's attitude. He has called Putin disappointing and has also said that everything now depends on Putin, but he is also ready to make such promises, which are a big relief for Putin.

Trump Message Delivered To Putin

The tension between the two big world leaders seems to have eased to a great extent after Trump's special envoy Witkoff's visit to Russia. In fact, Witkoff made several such offers to Putin, which seem to lead to a settlement between Ukraine and Russia. These include assurances to stop the expansion of NATO, which is why Putin is excited for the meeting, and he even said that this meeting could take place in the friendly country of the UAE.

What trust did Putin get from Trump?

Donald Trump has reportedly assured Vladimir Putin that while there will be no formal peace in Ukraine, both nations will agree to a ceasefire. Under this understanding, Russia’s territorial control based on current ground realities will remain, even though it will not receive legal recognition.

This lack of recognition, however, will be effectively deferred for a period ranging from 49 to 99 years, allowing Russia to maintain power in those regions during that time. Additionally, the import of Russian gas and oil will be permitted for the long term, ensuring continued economic ties. Another key guarantee from the United States would be that NATO will not expand under any circumstances, marking a significant shift in the alliance’s strategic boundaries.

Putin is also excited for the meeting

After the offer given by Trump, Putin is also excited for this meeting; he is indirectly seeing it as his victory. That is why he has given positive messages to Trump's special envoy, Witkoff. Putin has also said that he is ready to meet Trump. He has also indicated that he can stop the attack on Ukraine. Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov has said that President Vladimir Putin and Steve Witkoff have had a good conversation; it is not positive. On the other hand, Putin has also said that he can meet Trump in the UAE.
